Metallographic analysis
X-ray inspection equipment: a non-destructive testing method, mainly used for detecting weld defects in FSW products, such as voids, porosity, cracks, and collapse.
Metallographic analysis equipment:requires cutting, grinding, and polishing of the FSW weld section, followed by metallographic observation and measurement. It can examine weld microstructure and weld path, and measure penetration depth, weld width, weld centricity, etc.

Airtightness testing methods:
dry testing and water testing. Dry testing uses an airtightness tester to check whether the leakage amount meets the standard within a specified time. Water testing requires submerging the product in water and observing whether any air bubbles leak out within a specified time.
Types of airtightness testing equipment:
1) General-purpose equipment + manual tooling – suitable for sample testing.2) General-purpose leak tester + custom automatic tooling – automated testing, suitable for high‑efficiency mass production inspection.
